The Miami Shambhala Meditation Group is a part of Shambhala International, a Colorado non-profit corporation. Our mission is simple: to teach meditation, Shambhala and Buddhist studies to the South Florida community. The group was founded in 2005 and meets at the Tibetan Buddhist center Kagyu Shedrup Choling. Our membership, which is small but committed, is comprised of individuals from many walks of life and viewpoints. What our community shares is a desire to cultivate sanity and clarity and to cultivate gentleness and a sense of relating to one's own basic goodness and that of others.
